SOME SCARY ERRORS DURING YOUR SHAVING

media-imgHalloween is coming and many of you may still be in doubt about how to celebrate the scariest night of the year. There are those who love disguise, who prefer to spend the evening in front of a horror film and those who can not wait to spend the night full of adventure. I mean, there are no rules on Halloween, except one: turning into the scariest version of ourselves.

There are scary scenes that only happen on this evening, while others can happen every day, for example, during shaving... That’s right: shaving, between razors, blades and possible cuts, goes very well with the "horror" concept of Halloween, but don’t worry: there are some tricks that will save you from these scenes semi splatter.

Here we go: we’ll tell you five scary mistakes you could make while shaving. Don’t, and you won’t be walking around looking like Halloween all year.

SHAVE EVERY DAY
Shaving every day can cause irritation, since the action of shaving removes the keratin layer of the skin, which regenerates in a few days. It would be a good habit to shave every 2-3 days.

SHAVING AGAINST THE GRAIN
Shaving against the hair can cause injuries to the base of the hair, which could obstruct its natural exit during regeneration, with the formation of ingrown hairs. The shaving should always be done in the direction of the hair, starting from the sides of the face and leaving for last the chin and mustache, so as to make the treatments act longer. For some particularly hard or dark beards, an alternative to the reverse hair can be to act laterally to the hair, with light and skillful gestures to avoid traumatizing the skin.

DO NOT USE AN AFTERSHAVE
Shaving does not end with shaving. We must complete the "mission" with a product that takes care of the skin, exposed to the harsh action of the blades. Forgetting to apply a good aftershave can cause irritation and annoying redness on the skin.

NEVER CHANGE THE RAZOR
When you feel that the shaver no longer cuts effectively, changing the blade will prevent you from cutting your beard unevenly, or even worse, cutting you. In addition, it is important to know that when the razor slips on the skin it collects impurities and dead cells; if we lend or use blades previously used by other people, we are carrying bacteria and other people’s dirt on our skin. So our advice is never to share blades or your razor.

DRY BY RUBBING A TOWEL ON YOUR FACE
Another very common error occurs precisely in the concluding passages. Once you’ve finished shaving and rinsed your face, it’s time to dry it. Taking a clean towel is a good thing but most people at this point will rub it in their face trying to go as deep as possible. This action is extremely harmful to the skin; our advice is then to gently pat with a towel on the face until completely dry.

Halloween is the party where the embodiments of our fears come knocking at our door, but remember one important thing: Halloween passes in one night, while for skin irritations it takes a little more time.
