Miles Away 2: New England through Bullfrog’s Eyes

Miles Away is the project where Bullfrog explores places, people, and atmospheres that inspire our vision. It’s not just a photo collection, but a journey blending authenticity with the street culture that has always been part of our DNA. After the Midwest, our lens now turns to New England, a region that captures some of the most iconic and traditional sides of the United States.

Barbershops, campuses, and fishing villages

Photographer and videomaker Massimo Marcolin crossed towns and cities to capture everyday life: barbershops that act as social hubs, college campuses full of energy and generational contrasts, and fishing villages where hard work meets poetry. Each image reflects our idea of contemporary masculinity—grounded, curious, and stylish even in its most authentic details.

The Bullfrog perspective

Among windswept coastlines and timeless towns, we found the same spirit that drives us every day in our barbershops: the ability to merge tradition and modernity, ritual and spontaneity. Just as shaving is never only a technical gesture but also a personal ritual, the photographs of Miles Away become stories to treasure, moments that speak of community, travel, and new perspectives.

Encounters that matter

One of the most intense moments of the journey is meeting Josh, a surfer and artist who turned his barbershop into a place of storytelling and exchange. Stories like his remind us that Bullfrog is more than a brand—it’s a shared language made of passions, experiences, and a way of recognizing each other across different cultures.

Where to experience Miles Away

The New England series will be showcased from September 22nd at Deus, via Thaon de Revel in Milan, and later in every Bullfrog barbershop across Italy. And the journey doesn’t stop there: alongside the exhibition, exclusive video stories are live on Instagram, bringing you even closer to the places, people, and moments we encountered along the way.
