For the bearded man, the beard is an extension of oneself, a part of one’s body to be scrupulously cared for every day.
But there are some things that you just don’t have to do and run the risk of nullifying all the work:
1. WASH THE BEARD WITH ANY SOAP
The beard doesn’t always remain clean, indeed! It keeps food, smoke and any other dirt around us during the day. It’s therefore necessary to give it a nice clean to eliminate them. But be careful to use the right products! Use any soap, not specific for this area of the face, may not be the right choice and is likely to make the beard dry and damaged. Then choose a specific shaving shampoo, such as Delicate Cleansing Fluid.
2. HAIRDRYER AT HIGH TEMPERATURES
Once you get out of the shower, are you in the habit of passing the hot hairdryer on your beard? Perhaps it isn’t the wisest choice. Heat, in fact, damages the beard making it weaker and more dry. Watch out for the temperature!
3. PASS THE HAIR STRAIGHTENER ON THE BEARD
Not just hot air, but also the hair straightener? It’s time to change habits! It isn’t really the case to pass two hot plates on his beard risking to burn it and combine a disaster that has very little remediable. A beard balm like Agnostico is recommended instead. Agnostico is the beard balm from the Bullfrog house, ideal for softening and taming even the toughest and most rebellious beards. Finally to regulate the hair the advice is to use the Beard Brush. Easy to handle, allows you to easily reach all areas of the beard, untangling even the most rebellious beards.
4. CURL THE BEARD
Of all the horrible things you could do to your beard, this is certainly the worst. Maybe you don’t realize it, but maybe you’re doing it right now. Continuously curling the beard with your fingers could damage the bulbs and in those areas you may not grow a beard anymore. So go easy!
Some habits are difficult to change, but if you are bearded, at least try not to have one of these!
